Zichao Dong

I am a postdoctoral research fellow at Delft University of Technology (TU Delft) in the Netherlands. Before joining TU Delft, I was a postdoctoral research fellow in the ECOPRO research group at the Institute for Basic Science in Daejeon, South Korea. Previously, I was a research fellow at the Alfréd Rényi Institute of Mathematics in Budapest, Hungary. I completed my PhD in Mathematics at Carnegie Mellon University in 2023, where I was fortunate to be advised by Boris Bukh. I received my BSc in Mathematics from Peking University in 2018. Before that, I was an MOer at Beijing National Day School.

My primary research interests lie in extremal combinatorics, graph theory, discrete geometry, combinatorial number theory, and related areas, with a particular emphasis on the interplay among algebraic, geometric, and probabilistic methods.
